This year’s GfÖ Annual Meeting is being held jointly with the Nordic Society Oikos; a particular highlight - among many others - will undoubtedly be the opportunity to exchange ideas with our Nordic colleagues. However, this also means that the cost of attending the conference is higher than for an annual meeting held domestically. Therefore, in addition to the standard reduced registration fees for members, the GfÖ is making a travel grant available to its members. This grant amounts to €250 per person.
Who is eligible to apply?
- GfÖ member
- The applicant’s doctoral dissertation must not yet be completed.
- The applicant must have an accepted abstract for a presentation at the conference.
- A confirmation from the applicant’s supervisor/advisor stating that participation in the conference cannot be funded through other means.
- Proof of enrollment/student status.
How to apply?
Submit an informal application accompanied by the supporting documents listed above.
Where to apply?
A total of approximately €25,000 is available; grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis according to the order in which applications are received.
Reimbursement will be processed after the conference; we ask for your understanding regarding this procedure. Processing these grants involves a significant administrative effort, and handling reimbursements for trips that ultimately do not take place would unnecessarily complicate this workload.
