We congratulate Dr Hanna Gardein on receiving the BAAE Best Student Paper Award 2025 for her outstanding publication, “New fungal core microbiome members of the ground nesting bee Andrena vaga: The key to oligolecty?” The study was recognized for its originality, conceptual strength, and methodological rigor, and represents an excellent contribution to both basic and applied ecology.
